Protein at breakfast — is it worth the effort?

The advice to “eat 30 g of protein at breakfast” is everywhere. The evidence is more nuanced: your total intake across the day matters most, but an even distribution does help with fullness and muscle maintenance.

A breakfast built around eggs, skyr or cottage cheese keeps you satisfied until lunch and takes the pressure off the evening meal. If mornings are rushed, overnight oats with Greek yogurt do the job in two minutes.
