High-Protein Tuna & Apple Salad

Method
Drain the tuna thoroughly and flake it into bite-sized pieces with a fork.
Dice the cucumber and apple into small, even cubes. Thinly slice the celery, or grate the carrot if using it as a substitute.
In a blender or food processor, combine the Skyr, cottage cheese, mustard, garlic, and a pinch of black pepper. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
Place the tuna, cucumber, apple, and celery into a large mixing bowl.
Pour the creamy dressing over the salad ingredients and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
Taste and season with additional salt and black pepper if needed.
Serve immediately, or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before enjoying.
The crisp apple adds natural sweetness that balances the savory tuna and creamy dressing, while the celery provides a satisfying crunch. For extra freshness, garnish with chopped parsley, dill, or chives. If you prefer, substitute the tuna with cooked shredded chicken breast for an equally high-protein variation.
