High-Protein Holiday Shrimp & Orange Salad

Method
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with black pepper. Melt the butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, or until pink and lightly golden. Remove from the heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and honey until smooth and well combined.
Arrange the mixed salad leaves on a large serving plate or in a shallow bowl.
Scatter the orange segments, olives, and pieces of light mozzarella over the greens.
Top the salad with the warm garlic shrimp, then drizzle evenly with the honey-mustard dressing.
Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and serve immediately while the shrimp are still warm.
For the best balance of flavors, use a sweet, juicy orange such as Navel or Cara Cara. Lightly toasting the sesame seeds in a dry skillet for 1–2 minutes before sprinkling them over the salad enhances their nutty aroma and adds extra depth to this elegant, protein-rich dish.
