Method

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti or linguine and cook according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

  2. Sauté the seafood: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Add the seafood and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked. Remove the seafood from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and reserved pasta water, then simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. Combine: Return the seafood to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce.

  5. Serve: Divide the pasta among serving plates and garnish with fresh parsley or Parmesan cheese if desired.
