Chicken, Mushroom & Wild Rice Soup

Method
Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat; sauté mushrooms, leeks, and garlic for 4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Load Appliance: Transfer the sautéed vegetables into the soup maker jug, then add rinsed wild rice, shredded chicken, thyme, and hot stock.
Start Cooking: Secure the lid and select the Chunky soup setting (28 minutes cycle) to cook the rice through while keeping the ingredients whole.
Season & Serve: Once the cycle finishes, season with salt and black pepper, stir gently, and ladle into warm bowls.
Cooking Hack: Rinsing the wild rice removes excess surface starch, preventing the broth from becoming cloudy and ensuring a clear, rich garlic-thyme stock.
