Method

  1. In a large jar or airtight food container, combine the rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, and chia seeds.

  2. Add the Skyr, milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract if using. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and all of the dry ingredients are fully incorporated.

  3. Gently fold in the blueberries, taking care not to crush them completely.

  4. Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. During this time, the oats and chia seeds will absorb the liquid, creating a thick, creamy texture.

  5. Before serving, stir the oatmeal well. If it has become too thick, add 20–30ml (1–2 tablespoons) of milk until it reaches your preferred consistency.

  6. Divide into two bowls or enjoy directly from the jars. Finish with extra blueberries and your favorite toppings if desired.

Chef's Tip

This recipe is perfect for meal prep and keeps well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can easily customize it by replacing the blueberries with strawberries, raspberries, cherries, peaches, or mixed berries. Each fruit brings a different flavor profile and will slightly alter the nutritional values.
