High-Protein Cheeseburger Patties

Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
Finely dice the tomatoes and chop the pickles into small pieces. Pat the tomatoes dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a large bowl, combine the lean ground beef, tomatoes, pickles, egg, sugar-free ketchup, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all the ingredients are evenly distributed, taking care not to overwork the meat.
Divide the mixture into 7 equal portions and shape each into a thick patty. Arrange them evenly on the prepared baking tray, leaving a little space between each one.
Sprinkle the shredded reduced-fat cheese evenly over the tops of the patties.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the patties are fully cooked and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Allow the patties to rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them on their own, in lettuce wraps, or with roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or whole-grain burger buns.
These juicy patties capture all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger without the bun. For the best texture, gently mix the ingredients and avoid overworking the beef. They are excellent for meal prep and can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
