High-Protein Tuna Spread

Method
Drain the tuna thoroughly using a fine-mesh sieve, pressing gently to remove as much liquid as possible.
Finely dice the dill pickles and thinly slice the green onions.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the tuna, Skyr, Dijon mustard, diced pickles, green onions, and minced garlic.
Mash the mixture gently with a fork until it reaches your preferred consistency, leaving some small flakes of tuna for texture. For a smoother spread, pulse briefly in a food processor.
Season with freshly ground black pepper and taste before adding any salt, as the tuna and pickles already provide plenty of seasoning.
Cover and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled on whole-grain crispbread, toast, sandwiches, tortillas, lettuce wraps, or as a protein-rich dip with fresh vegetables.
For an even fresher flavor, stir in a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of chopped dill or parsley just before serving. This spread is excellent for meal prep and will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
